In celebration of America250, "1972" is an American historical musical drama film directed by Peter H. Hunt and written by Peter Stone, based on his book for the 1969 Broadway musical of the same name, with music and lyrics by Sherman Edwards. Set in Philadelphia in the summer of 1776, it is a fictionalized account of the events leading up to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The film stars William Daniels, Howard da Silva, Donald Madden, John Cullum, Ken Howard and Blythe Danner.

Time for family fun with "Dog Man"! Produced by DreamWorks Animation in 2023 and based on the children's graphic novel series by Dav Pilkey, this film is rated PG.

Finding Inspiration

Jan. 25-Feb. 28

Annette Eshelman thrives on creating customized art exploration and art learning experiences that draw from the solid values and characteristics of her Appalachian heritage: identity, observing the natural world, and self-expression through the act of creating. Annette creates a rich combination of immersive art education learning experiences that engage all audiences.

Clyde Henry’s work is influenced by the years he studied under the renowned architect Masao Kinoshita, who taught him the qualities of Japanese harmony, balance, and restraint. His work is also influenced by his childhood in Minnesota, and his early career establishing an art curriculum at Centro Educacional de Bonao, in the Dominican Republic. He embraces both the optimistic colors of the Caribbean and the bright whites and deep blacks of Northern winters, often combining the two.

Art Instruction

Join our exhibiting artist Annette Eshelman to learn the art of needle felting.

Each participant will make a pendant in this 2-hour workshop

$55 per participant age 16 and up.

Join Us for a Spring-Themed Watercolor Painting Class! Unleash your creativity in this fun and relaxing watercolor class, led by artist, Deb Waites. Using spring as inspiration we will capture the beauty and energy of the season in our watercolor paintings.

This class is perfect for both beginners and those looking to enhance their watercolor skills.

All materials will be provided—just bring your imagination! Come and enjoy the therapeutic process of painting as we welcome the beauty of Spring!

Drawing at the Wags

Beginners looking to explore your artistic side and seasoned artists wanting to level up your abilities and hang out with creatives are welcome to attend the drawing at the Wags drop-in class on the first Saturday of the Month.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own materials, however, since this is being held in the gallery, ONLY GRAPHITE will be permitted.

A small fee of $10 covers studio space and instructional support by an artist.
